Not all learning is about academics. Much of what we gain from school is how to interact within communities. Social and emotional learning play a role when creating environments of safety so we can all learn how to navigate problem solving in life. Education helps us find out who we are and who we want to be. Teachers need support as they step back into the classroom. Dr. Paul Thomas at Furman University and Dr. Michele Dufresne the President of Pioneer Valley Publishing share that strong educational systems will require changes at multiple levels.
