The Afterword: A Conversation About the Future of Words

When our perspectives and beliefs are challenged by new information, how do we handle it? We need to be aware of our role in passing on information and becoming culturally responsible. Are we holding social media platforms accountable for what is presented? Finding original sources and utilizing primary documents to fact check is one way to insure authentic understanding about issues. 

Chris Worthy and Thomas Riddle give relevant insight and information about resources to assist us in balancing bias and belief. The message of fear tries to override logic, but we can learn how to fact check, and apply principles of information literacy to the messages we hear and see.
