Teaching and learning are component parts of education. As we teach, we learn and vice versa. How one becomes educated depends on several mindsets. Are we willing to gain perspective and understand the viewpoints of others? As Carol Dweck shares, we either have a Growth mindset or a Fixed mindset. Empathy is a pathway of learning that expands that mindset.
